Join local artists to learn more about their artwork and indulge in light snacks and good conversation.

Renee Blue O’Connell began doing collage at the age of 60. She is inspired by nature and all of her mixed media works feature animals and nature scenes. She is known for her bold colors and expressive use of  contrast and harmony.

Ray Mishler has been a Charlottesville resident since 1977 and recently retired from a career at Martha Jefferson Hospital. His camera of choice these days is my iPhone and all photos in this exhibit were produced with it. Ray aims to capture images "hiding in plain sight", to work with composition for interesting perspectives, or to show grandeur in our common surroundings.

Barbara Trovillo is a contemporary Impressionist Painter, working in oil paint with palette knives and brushes. Inspired by nature, creating visual stories, her work is characterized by color, texture, and movement.
