October 8 -  Cybersecurity and our Elections- Unpacking Fact from Fiction from so called "Cyber Experts."   The integrity of our sacred electoral process will be discussed and analyzed in this informative program providing attendees with the knowledge to be informed voters and citizens.  

Denver Riggleman is the CEO of Riggleman Information and Intelligence Group (RIIG), Former VA-5 Congressman, Senior Technical Adviser for the Jan 6 Committee, NY Times bestselling author of THE BREACH, senior electronic warfare consultant for OSD, co-founder and CEO of Analyst Warehouse LLC, a full-service analysis and technology development company specializing in counter-terrorism, data science, critical infrastructure analysis and analytics. Currently Denver is co-owner (with his spouse) of Silverback Distillery - an award winning distillery in Afton, VA- in the beautiful Rockfish Valley.

November 12 - Can Democracy and Capitalism Coexist?
Democratic capitalism is under siege. Yet the relationship between free markets and democracy, long viewed as a foundational feature of American political life, has often been highly contentious. Today, old challenges like political polarization, rising market concentration, racial and ethnic battles over identity, and vast gaps between rich and poor are exacerbated by new circumstances. This event will feature three scholars of politics, history, and law who will consider the opportunities and perils of reimagining democratic capitalism. 

December 17 - Annual Meeting and Ideas for Programming (3rd Wednesday)
Presenters- Sue Liberman, President of SSV and Frank Friedman, Board of Directors
Sue will provide an overview of the past year and what Senior Statesmen and your support has brought to the community.  
Frank Friedman will lead small group discussions that will enable participants the opportunity to provide input to program topics and areas of interest for the coming 2026 program year.  A reception will follow the meeting providing time for attendees and Board members to mingle while enjoying plentiful refreshments.
