Writing Your Life Story

Thursday, August 1, 2019 | 10:30am - 11:30am

“Do not pass through life without leaving something behind for others to learn from your experiences.  You may discover a you you’ve never known.” – Antwone Fisher

You may think you have nothing exciting to report, but life stories aren’t only interesting if they are full of Hollywood-style adventures. Rich life stories are often woven from small, daily events that define a person and make them who they ultimately become.  Join Jackie Jamison of Charlottesville Life Stories for this introductory session to learn what it takes to write a life story, your “personal letter” to the generations that follow.  If there is enough interest, Jackie will lead a series of workshops in the fall aimed at helping you get your story on paper!

Open to all.
