Details:

Whether you have boxes of vintage collectibles packed away that you have not seen in 20 years or a treasured collection of antiques handed down through your family, there comes a time when decisions have to be made about what to do with them. Learn a few of the highs and lows associated with downsizing with Julia Henri, ISA AM, an Accredited Appraiser (non-biased, and compliant with USPAP) with the International Society of Appraising.  During this presentation, Julia will discuss easy ways to authenticate and to find current valuations, as well as how the various selling venues have changed over the past two years. She will also provide tips related to 2019 charitable contributions regardless if you are planning donations to Goodwill or a major museum. Learn how a documented history or provenance provides additional value as well as long-term importance to your special items. Realize the importance of condition and conservation.

Julia Henri’s background includes extensive education, training, and experience in her field of appraising and collections management. She will stay after the lecture to answer individual questions and share in your stories.
