ROUND DANCE (
NEXT ROUND DANCE LESSONS –
Round Dancing is choreographed ballroom dancing and like square dancing, the sequence is called or cued. Hence, dancers learn figures and all couples execute the same steps in a circle (thus the name “round dancing”). Round dancing is easier than ballroom dancing because dancers do not need to memorize long sequences of dance steps. Music genres vary from current hits to ragtime, jazz, country, easy listening, the 50s decade, big band, etc. Spectators may attend for free and are welcome at either lessons or dances.Open to the community. Fees cover each 8 week session and are due on the first Tuesday of class. Stay for the intermediate lesson for no additional charge. Chip Hopper and Elaine Rudert- Hopper are the instructors.Open to all.
