November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Type 2 diabetes is an increasingly common health problem, with almost half of American adults now having Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes.  Dr. Susan Blank, founder of local non-profit BEATDiabetes, will discuss the risk factors for and clinical features of Type 2 diabetes as well as some of the reasons behind the current Type 2 diabetes epidemic. She will also share practical tips for healthy eating and physical activity to help you prevent or manage Type 2 diabetes.
