Before there were cameras explorers, scientists, adventurers, would document their daily activities with sketches in journals drawing wildlife, people, places with quick drawings. The class will use an illustrated journal to document their daily life or important events keeping a record for the future. An illustrated journal is basically a diary where you can record anything at all from your life. Instead of just writing, the predominant content is drawn, although many people supplement their drawings with notes, annotations or even some fancy lettering.
The course will cover various mediums and techniques used in sketching.
Required Materials: Sketching materials, pencils, pens, blank sketch book 8”x10” is good.
